The YRA Submission was lodged on 20 August 2026.
The Framework presents a “vision to 2050” that combines a version of the 1912 Griffin Plan with the concept of transforming Adelaide Avenue-Yarra Glen from a major 6 lane arterial road to a vibrant, multimodal corridor spine that better connects to local neighbourhoods in Yarralumla, Deakin, Curtin and Hughes, with significant increases in housing density.

The ACT Government has not provided a comprehensive case for the Framework (the Framework.
No underpinning data or analysis is provided on its feasibility nor is there any assessment of financial viability and the funding required and its sources.
